i just mixed up a bag of dektol, and probably don't need another for a while
seeing i have enough chems to mix some d72 from scratch, but i misplaced my
"extra bag on hand" bag of dektol i tend to try to keep around. anyone have a source for
cheap 3.8L bags of dektol ?
i see old-stuff on eBay ( won't touch it ) and adorama seems to have a good price ( 9-10$ )
anyplace else have a deal or tend to have a deal with the dektol ?

thanks

A 3.8L bag of Dektol will process many sheets of photo paper which costs many times the Adorama price for Dektol. Economizing here is risky.

dektol is $11/gal bag at B&H.

cheaper than that?.... you'll get it from flea bay perhaps 20 years old or gently used.

Doesn't the Legacy Pro developer claim to be the same as Dektol? $6.29/gallon from Freestyle.

thanks for your suggestions !

no idea eddie, i've never heard of it ...

i should probably just buy the stock chemicals to mix d72
it will probably cost me less than what i might pay for dektol, or legacy ..

The website says it's the same, or similar to Kodak. The catalog says it's the same as Dektol.
