ChartThrob Error: 1242

When I run the chartthrob script for a 16 bit b&w scan in CS3 I'm getting the following error:

Error 1242: Illegal argument - argument 1
-wrong type of enumerated value
Line 1048
-> samplerDoc.ChangeMode(DocumentMode.RGB)

I thought it was recommneded that the image be 16 bit b&w?

The image you want ChartThrob to analyse should be an RGB one (even though it's of a series of graduated grey patches from paper white through to maximum black).

Okay. And should the curve be applied to a grayscale or rgb image?

The correction curve that ChartThrob generates? You can apply that to either an RGB 'greyscale' image, or to a 'true' greyscale image.
