Perusing my local ETSY charity store recently I came upon a Hama gadget bag. Rapid inspection revealed it to be a 'Classic F99' with three internal dividers still in it. In virtual 'mint' condition. For the princely sum of £3.50p I bought this gem. Now it holds my Minolta X-700 fitted with Minolta 35-135 lens, Cosina 19-35 lens, 55mm linear polariser, SunPak MG-1 hammerhead flash & bracket, Weston Euromaster exposure meter & Invercone, set of extension tubes. Just what I needed for going on coach trips next year!

There are odd signs of usage, like overstretched film canister elastics and the odd scuff mark. Nothing to worry about, a photographer with an unmarked kit bag hasn't been anywhere interesting................

Anyone else found any bargain store bargains?

Here is another Etsy vintage camera bag. I think it was originally for a 35mm plus a set of lenses.
It is now re-purposed for the RB67 plus one extra lens.
The bag is from the 1960's I think, it is of plywood covered in a soft shiny black faux leather.
Brand "PacoFlex" does not show any relevant hits.

Now I "just need a.." mini light meter from '60's~'70's to put in one of the external rear pockets ( not shown in the photo)

My most recent thrift store camera bag purchase included a Nikon N75 and an AF zoom Nikkor for 6 bucks total.
Spent more than that to replace the batteries.

So far, I've used the bag more than the camera, it's very compact, so it's been convenient for packing various cameras on the motorcycle.

I found some Ilford RC paper in one recently. The packages had been opened so the condition of the contents were dubious. One pkt was a 3/4 full 100 sheet box of 8x10 so had potential, the other pkts were 4x6 and 5x7 seemed very skinny so not much left. They wanted about $15 for the 4 pkts so I offered $3. The manager was called over and she used a calculator to add up the individual prices and apply a percentage discount and came up with $8.50 I counter offered $5.. my absolute limit to 'throw away'. She refused any more negotiation so I walked. In hindsight I should took a punt and paid the $8.50!
