We are selling t his really classic plate camera to raise funds for the Catholic Community Services food bank in Ogden, Utah. Your purchase, 100 percent, will provide food for the thousands of working poor and senior citizens who visit the bank every month.

This is a really lovely classic, An Ernemann Heag II, Series II, made between 1913 and 1925. This is the 10 by 15 cm size, perfect for paper negatives if you have any plate holders of that size. Or just to have around -- I see home decor shops selling cameras like this for massive prices.

This camera has an Ernemann Ernastigmat f 6.8 165mm lens, uncoated of course! It has a Cronos C shutter that goes from f 6.8 down to f-50.

Double extension bellows look solid. Lovely leather bellows.

The shutter is pneumatic and sounds pretty close. T and B work. There's a lever on the side of the shutter that would be a self-timer, perhaps, if it worked but it doesn't move and I decline to push it. It looks as if someone replaced the ground glass in back with some sort of plexiglass.

The body of the camera you can see -- leather is pretty dry and worn in spots. Handle feels solid, though.

This is a lovely display or user item. I am asking $70 plus $5 shipping in the US -- Every cent of the $70 goes to the food bank, I will eat shipping overage myself.

First cash to paypal takes it: Paypal address is summicron12000@yahoo.com. That is also my email.

Thanks for helping

$60 plus $5??? And I'll be losing money on the postage, which I know is more than $10.

It's a donation for the hungry, not a camera.

$60 including shipping in the USA?

feels like a Dutch Auction, but after this I may just use the lens on my speed graphic and make the donation myself.

Whatever.

Ernemann Heag II

Camera arrived in todays post. Absolutely awesome. Leather is far better than 90 years should allow. A bit of cleaning and find some plate or film holders and baby will be ready for some time in the sun.
