I had the great fortune yesterday to inherit a Hasselblad 503CW with multiple lenses, backs, and filters. I'm very excited about it, but there's one catch -- no manual. I'm used to a Bronica which is significantly different.
My first problem is not being able to figure out how to change backs. It's got a 220 back on it and I need to put the 120 on it. Can't be too difficult, but I'm stumped. I'd like to be able to shoot today. Anybody willing and able to walk me through this?
Well, that was hard! I must be slow today. I've pushed down, forward, backward, and left on that button, but apparently never pushed it right. OK, time to go back to bed.
Reminds of the first time I got my Hassey - with all the manuals mind you. I did the same thing - pushed that button, pulled it downpulled it up, had the dark slide ouit, etc... everything but read the manual! Ah the memories. You are going to love that camera.
Just some simple things...use the button to take the back
on and off....don't just snap the back on use the button....
once on give a little dug to make sure it is on.....two do not mix the incerts check the the numbers on the back and the incert the last 3 numbers should match....just a few
small things that can make your day go bad
