Chamonix front standard knobs

I am trying to understand how the stacked knobs on the Chamonix Alpine camera work. They are a cupped knob that is stacked one inside the other and they operate the rise and fall and front tilt and back tilt of the lens. The outer lets the lens rise and fall and the inner cupped knob operates the on axis front tilt and back tilt. A similar set up is used on the Ebony cameras. I assume there are some sort of bushings. How they work together is the mystery. Drawings diagrams pics would all go along way toward explaining. Thank you for any light you can bring to this matter.

Email Chamonix. Not sure if they would provide drawings, however. But you pretty much described it;s operation. That's pretty much how my Chamonix 45H-1 works. One pair of knob (one on each side) allows you to move and lock the lens/bellows tilt, and the other allows its movement to rise and fall on the metal slide. Many other cameras have both rise-fall and tilt operations on one knob. With two, you have independent operation, which makes adjustments a little easier.
