For Sale Chamonix 5x8 Camera plus Film Holders

After not using it for more than two years, I have decided to sell my Chamonix 5x8 camera. This is the horizontal only model, made of Canadian Maple. The camera takes Linhof size lens boards and weighs 2110g (on my scale). The sale includes the original Chamonix case for the camera. The camera is in very good condition, with very little usage marks. The price for the camera plus case is $1800.

I also have 5x8 Chamonix film holders for sale. There are two that are in light Maple wood (with carbon fiber dark slides), and six that are stained black (also with carbon fiber dark slides). All film holders are in very good condition, and they all come in the original Chamonix pouch.

The pouches for the light colored holders got a little too attached to each other and have clearly visible separation issues These are only surface defects. Each of these film holders is $80.

The other six film holders are dark stained, and their pouches have some surface wear & tear (see images). These are $100 each.

Please note: I'm happy to sell the film holders separately, however, only after the camera has been sold.

I will only accept Paypal (and I will cover the fee), and buyer pays for insured shipping. My preference is to ship to Continental US only, however, contact me for international shipping. Disclaimer: tripod, tripod head, house not included.

Camera looks cool… however, what’s the deal with 58 film, assuming that’s all special order? Also curious if a 45/57 back adapter would work on this.

I was assuming you would cut an 8x10 sheet in half, although it's not entirely obvious to me how you would easily and reliably/repeatably do that.
