Hello. Just what the title says. does anyone else have first hand experience with this particular gear combo? (A Chamonix 045-n1) would likely be the same.
The combo does work, but I feel like the 405 holder would love about 3mm more insert depth to the left. (In landscape format, bail back opening is on the right in my case so 405 holder gets inserted from right to left while looking at back of camera.
The holder does "lock" into the camera with the little wheels, and the few images I've shot seem the proper size, but still it just doesn't "feel" quite right.
A side note I thought of in typing this, do any left handers flip the back around so they can insert holders from left to right? I've never thought of this potential variation in camera function before.
