I used this camera for about 2 years before moving away from 8x10. I spend most of one winter restoring it, and I think I did a pretty good job. I never managed to get a well made leather handle so the camera now has a temporary rubber one I cut out myself. The bellows are still original. I fixed the pinholes with liquid plastic and never had problems with light leaks. The back, and the front standard were rebuilt by Richard Ritter, who also custom made a copal 3 wooden lens board, and a lens board adapter for linhof style boards (which are both included). I'll also include, along with my estimated used value:
1) BTZS focus cloth ($35 - $40)
2) f.64 BPX Extra Large Backpack that was only used for storing the camera ($75 - $100).
3) box of 810 Ilford HP5+ film, with about 20 sheets left (a gift)
4) 4 8x10 film holders in great condition (2 Lisco Regal, 2 Fidelity Elite) ($300)
5) Pentax brand shutter release cable (another gift)
6) Horseman focusing magnifier long loupe 6x ($100)
As regards the price, in my humble estimation just the added accessories should bring about $500. The camera, with the custom linhof lens board adapter and wooden copal 3 board, should get around $900 - $1200, and given the condition of the camera I'm expecting near the top of this range. Together, everything should be able to sell for $1400 to $1700. These are NET to me (i.e., not including shipping and money transfer fees).
Of course I'm open to disagreements regarding price
I would gladly consider reasonable offers, including trades for some Contax / Zeiss lenses.
