Now it's light after dinner, so I headed out to my favourite spot for feral daffodils. Set up pinhole camera, took a light reading - uh oh, 15 minutes. Factor in reciprocity, fading light as the sun goes down..... Not gonna make it. Opened up camera, picked fistfuls of flowers out of the frame, for about 10 minutes, and then stood to one side with cell phone and "painted with light" by taking flash cell phone snaps. 14 of them before the battery died. Wonder how it will turn out?

Ok the battery died. Did the picked flowers die too?

Not yet. Some in the kitchen, some here in the bedroom, some to take to the office tomorrow. There are thousands of daffodils threaded through the brush and blackberries.
