Even if they get a film, a positive paper and chemicals, how are they going to put everything in a pack?
Did they found an old Polaroid pack film assembly line?

They sound pretty confident but I doubt they have it all figured out at this point. If they can make pack film why not make instant roll film for some of the older cameras that have been sitting dormant for so long.
Yeah, I've thought for a while that someone should make a limited run of a 40-series film, type 40 is by far the easiest instant film to manufacture (though I'd prefer type 42). The chemistry for type 40 was laughably simple (getting to color was another thing entirely).
The roll films were the only instant films designed from the start for a very small production run - just enough to supply a few dozen new cameras in the Boston area.
