How very sad.
Her style of photojournalism was to be admired. Totally unlike the CNN crowd who "Become" news. Ms.Leroy reminded me of the type of work done by the late Ernie Pyle.
Always present without becoming a presence.

Thanks for posting this, Suzanne. Catherine Leroy's work was (and still is, of course) excellent.
