An easier way to solve this problem is to move to 4x5" or larger ;-)

I worked in a hardware store and we gave away the paint can/bottle openers. What we thought was funny is even beer bottles are mostly twist off tops now but the openers havent changed in over 100 years.

Yeah, right. Do a search for all the threads where people can't figure out how to work film holders ...

GOOD beer doesn't come with twist-off caps anyway... So it gets used for film cassettes now.

Beer snob. Actually Sierra Nevada does come in twist offs, and it's a damned fine beer. But if you buy the full cases of bottles, they are crimp tops. It only took three or four before I realized that.

Bottles. I was wondering why it was tearing up the palms of my hands. Of course, a couple days later, I had forgotten and tried to twist another one off.

Many years ago I picked up a Guinness bottle opener and it is attached to the cow fob I use as a key ring.

Don't leave home without it.
