I love my 2.8E Rolleiflex but hate the case for it. Don't like how the front of it folds down and just dangles there while you're shooting. Would love to get a case where the front can be removed & attached easily. Seen some with a detachable front for the 2.8F but not the 2.8E. Do they make any for the 2.8E or are the F's compatible? Only one I've seen so far is the custom Luigi, which costs more than what I paid for the camera.

My experience with TLRs and 35mm that the cases should be called "Never Ready Cases". Skip the case and carry the camera on straps.

I found an ammo pouch at a military surplus store for my yashicamat 124g. Less than $20 and it fits perfectly. I'm gonna add some padding on the bottom but it's pretty close to perfect.

I have my dad's Rollei. His case has a small metal release lever where the front meets the rest so the front can be entirely detached. You can just about see it in this image (which is not mine BTW)

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Is your Rollei a 2.8E?
