Is there a specific case available that will fit a Mamiya 7 with lens? I don't mean a backpack, just a simple cover case like those you put SLR's into.

Peter

Not strictly true, there is a US patented brand called 'Zing' that makes neoprene cases that work well for SLR's. They make a bigger one for SLR's with hand grips and drives that fits my Mamiya 6 very well. That is with the 75mm, or 50mm lens attached and folded flat or extended out so it should work as well for the Mamiya 7. B+H photo, Adorama, and others sell them.

I picked up some Tenba P106 bags awhile back. I keep a Mamiya body w/80 and a 150 in it along with a small fill flash and incident meter plus misc film rolls, batteries. It seems almost made specifically for the rig. They're very cheap on eBay when you find them. The slightly smaller P104 holds a similar Bronica RF645 kit and also will hold the Mamiya gear without the extra lens. They're nicely made and have very good protection and features.

I bought a simple fitted case designed and made by a Canadian eBayer. Works great. - - I use it with one of Gordy's neck straps. I'll check and see iif I have the case-maker's email address.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll go check them out.
