Just came across this image when I was browsing reddit.com.

I'm in love with the shot, and was hoping to find more of the same by this guy, but a google image search turns up little to nothing.

What a fascinating story.

My guess is it's one image. But the barrel and stool are painted on the wall which gives the slightly strange perspective effect.

I've known a couple of climbers who could walk along a line of beer bottles, so I see no reason to suspect a fake. One of the classics of American climbing books (I can't remember if it's California Climbing or Colorado..) has a photo of someone doing the same trick. The caption is along the lines of "Sometimes skill is its own reward."
