Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f1.7

Ever since I have owned this lens I have found that the part which moves in and out when focusing feels slightly wobbly (side to side). The movement is small but I would have thought that a lens of this calibre would feel a bit more solid. It takes sharp pictures so does it matter or is it normal? If it isn't normal can it be fixed? Maybe it is just worn.

Maybe it is normal? Mine allows a bit movement as well, up and down, when focused near. Pictures are absolutely OK.
