This lens is in excellent cosmetic, mechanical and optical condition. There is only a tiny bit of paint loss on the outer rim. The glass is clean and clear, and free of any scratches, haze, or fungus, with only a few specks of internal dust. The aperture is oil free and snappy, the focus is buttery smooth, the f-stops click nicely into place. This is a very nice example of this very fast Zeiss glass.
