I have this lens in very good cond. But it is too big to fit into a 25mm thread mount and to small to fit a 39mm Leica mount. Any ideas on how I can use it on an enlarger(besides gluing it to a 39mm adapter)? Thanks

Oops!

Forgot to mention that it is indeed a Tessar enlarging lens.

I've seen one that looks pretty much like your average enlarging lens that as a M42 screw mount, so, eh, why not check it out if it fits on a M42 mount camera, and if it does, but a cheap M42-> whatever adapter and use it.

If the thread is larger than 25mm x 0.5mm and smaller than 39mm x 26 tpi (Leica
thread), then it is likely 32.5mm x 0.5mm. 32.5mm thread was commonly used on many of the smaller format German made enlarging lenses.

Measure the OD with a micrometer or dial caliper to be sure of the diameter and bear in mind that the OD will be slightly smaller than 32.5mm to provide the necessary clearance for the male and female parts to fit together.

Here is another option, a 32.5mm x 0.5mm to 39mm Leica adaptor.

Possibly someone has one to sell used at a reasonable price.

Actually, it's a 5cm 2.7 and with a rough straight-rule guesstimate it looks like 28-29mm, not 32.5mm. I have to get a micometer.
