Care & tips for Seal 500t dry mount press needed...

I recently obtained a Seal Masterpiece 500T dry mount press ( yesterday ) from a frame shop that was liquidating a few stores ( $150 ).

The press looks to be in great condition and quickly warmed up to temp. But I would like to make sure everything is in the best working order as it can be, ie: thermostat, hardware torque settings and alignments and the condition of the platen.

So I am looking for both the manual and tips for care and maintenance of this beast.

Aside from dry mounting, I am looking to use this press for fiber base paper drying and flattening as I live in a fairly dry climate.

Hi, I would advise against drying fiber prints in the press, because the emulsion is soft and any dust particles can become embedded in the emulsion.
