Decided to make a slightly larger print... I was recovering from Covid when I did this, so forgive me if I look and sound a bit rough 😁 Cheers!

Nice concise video Andrew. I've been watching too many of the Calvin Grier videos. It's nice to see someone churn out good work in a "normal" darkroom. I'm surprised more folks are not using the metal table idea. Seeing it in process makes it seem like a no-brainer to me.

Did you create your enlarged negative at home?

Thank you! I've always gotten by with mediocre and the bare minimum. I would like to have more space, though. My darkroom is under the deck, outside... 😁 Yes, I made the enlarged negative at home.

Great video, Andrew! I use my bathroom, kitchen, garage (the two 750W lamps for exposing are out there), and what ever it takes! I am pouring tissues this evening -- have three ready to be hung up!

But then I live alone, so the fact that it might be a day or two before the shower can be used is no big deal... No one complained about removing the 5-foot claw-foot bathtub and setting up a couple of saw-horses and an old desktop! A permanent arrangement eventually.

I pour 12.5"x19" tissues...using 290ml of glop poured 'free-form' onto the Yupo and spread with my fingers. I cut the tissue down to size after sensitizing -- I get enough for six 4x5x, or four 5x7s, or three 4x10x, or two 8x10s...or a mixuture of sizes depending on which negatives I want to play with. Tissues for 11x14 are poured to size.
