can't mount 90mm on G2 properly

Today I faced a problem mounting 90mm lens on Contax G2 body: while mounting, it traverses for about 70% of the normal way and then stops. The frame appears to be adjusted for 90mm focus, but no click happens so that full aperture is at around f/4 mark on the lens. I tried to apply a bit more force but it did not go through.
I can mount the other 3 lenses (28,35,45) with no issue, however. The 90mm's lens mount looks pretty much the same as the rest under eye inspection.
Does anyone know where to look further? I suppose this has to be a lens mount problem, but I don't see it.

Don't know where to look further, but it looks like an internal lens problem.

It looks like there was a problem with one of the pin on the lens mount. After moving it back and forth the problem was solved.
