Hello,
I'm new to this forum. I'm scanning B&W negs and trying to make duotones with photoshop cs5 but when I go to mode, although duotone shows as one of the sections, I can't select it What am I doing wrong?

From Adobe:
Convert the image to grayscale by choosing Image > Mode > Grayscale. Only 8‑bit grayscale images can be converted to duotones.
