That's funny. I'm just gonna sit back and see if this makes any Leicaphiles angry :munch:

I'll look great shooting with the Likea while wearing my $5 Rolex I got from the swap meet. It's so hard living the lifestyle of the rich and famous :wink:

That $5 Rolex might last about as long as this $20 Likea once it starts to rain. In fact it might be fun to watch the two of them in a rain storm to see which fails first.

One of my friend made fake watch trade between hongkong and istanbul. He revealed a very important secret , all the istanbul luxury market sells fake omegas and others. I looked his watch , its a 50 dollar fake and quality was excellent and it is mechanical not cell driven.
There is tremondous cnc work behind these fakes and I am sure a fake watch factory can easily start to fake Leica business. Not the newest ones but the oldest ones.
Energy and raw materials costs 1/10 compared to Western countries and people work 15 hours , 6 days for 80 dollars.
If I go there one day , may be I can think to invest a small shop and few workers. If I produce 300 , 1924 Leica , I am sure Leica group members would be crazy to buy them.

Any pinhole zooms?

BTW: Do pinholes distort (serious question)?

would've been nice if they actually provide you with a pinhole.

and pinholes don't distort, but you can get some extreme wide angle effects with very short/ shallow cameras.

Looks like a humoristic web page. This camera certainly doesn't exist at all. Also if you read the text you see it is some kind of an April fish. Certainly Leica would never allow such a "Likea" to be commercialised anyway, but I don't think anybody would ever think about producing this camera.

No, I think it is a real pinhole camera, there are similar cardboard cut and fold kits out there. As for what Leica might think, they may not be yet aware of it.

I will have you know that only the finest hand-selected cardboard goes into the production of the Likea and that the pinhole pancake element is precision drilled using time-tested old world technique newly imported to Australia. This process is unique and results in a camera whose characteristics may capture images that are difficult to produce by any other means.

Ohhh...what is that? You have to make your OWN pinhole!

Can't I get one from CV? :blink::blink::blink:
