At the moment I am working on a overhaul off a Canon Canonet QL19 G-III.
Unfortunately, I still have a problem with the needle of the light meter. After pressing the shutter release, the needle is not released again (see red arrow on photo). Only when I press the release mechanism with my hand all the way up, the needle is released again (see green arrow).
It seems that the spring tension is not sufficient to do this.
I have already loosened all screws a little and renewed the lubrication.
Do any of you have an idea where exactly the problem might be?
Any suggestions from you would be greatly appreciated.
