I am selling a Canon QL17 rangefinder (model G-III QL) in very good condition. This camera has manual and automatic exposure modes. The automatic modes are dependent on having a 1.3 V battery, which is no longer available, so I suggest using this camera primarily in manual operation mode. All shutter speeds appear to be correct, the lens is clean, and the controls are working properly. The viewfinder does exhibit some light haze, but not to an extent to impede use. The rangefinder patch is accurate and normally bright. The battery compartment is clean, and the meter does appears to work with an alkaline 1.5 V cell, although a 1.3 V solution is required for accurate readings (manual corrections to readings with a 1.3 V cell may be applied however). I am also not sure the iris is stopping down fast enough to synchronize with the leaf shutter for automatic use, but I am not certain. Otherwise the camera is in fine condition, and apparently has seen little use!
Sold as shown with the original front lens cap. Battery not included.
