We all know that Canon has a series of "white" lenses. The eggshell/tan color is to reduce heat buildup and its consequent effects on the optics.

Almost all of these lenses are of very long focal length and many of them are zooms. There were even some early FD mount white lenses.

What I'm trying to find is the shortest focal length white lens; I've not found a list of these lenses anywhere. Shortest I've seen is 70mm - as the short end of a zoom.

In the FD range: 150mm at short end

28mm for EF, in the form of the 28-300L lens...

35mm for nFD mount, in the form of the 35-70 AF lens...

Nice. Thank you, this is what I was looking for. I didnt realize there was a 28-300 EF and the 35-70 AF FD lens was a total surprise!

I did not refer to the 35-70mm lens, as I did not subsumize it under the "white lenses", professional range. More so as competitors all offered such selfsustained AF lenses in black only.
Now I wonder why Canon made this lens white.
