Taken from www.antiquecameras.net:

"Made 1958-60. 1st model with single shutter speed dial. Trigger wind. Bright lines for 50 & 100 lenses and automatic parallax correction. X sync at 1/55." I might add that the camera also has an integral finder for 35mm lenses.

This is a fully working Canon VI-T Leica thread mount rangefinder. The main issue with the camera is the finder which has sort of a hazy translucent grey blotch in the center of the field - sort of a halo around the rangefinder patch. This feature is probably removable with servicing, but the finder is usable in anyway (it's just somewhat annoying). Everything else (rangefinder, shutter, advance, self timer, etc.) looks to be working. This is normally one of the more expensive Canon rangefinder beauties (8175 made), but I am deeply discounting it and selling it "AS-IS" - no returns please. The cosmetics are so-so, but there's no sign of abuse.

This camera should be a lot of fun to use if you're not one of the overly picky types of users, and it's a head-turner!

Price: $150 plus insured shipping. Payment by check, money order, or PayPal.
