I've just been playing around with my first Canon rangefinder. It's a very nice little machine from 1959 or so. Even the timer works. My only disappointment is the viewfinder; it's got a little haze. I also purchased a Canon 50 f1.4 LTM. This is a lovely piece of glass. Looking through the VF, the patch and frame lines are visible. Focusing seems to be OK, the patch merging. I ordered a haze filter, the size is unusual at 48 mm. B&H has several different brands. Next is to field test it. This is in addition to my four Leica M's.
