canon ql17 shutter one speed

I have a nice canon ql17 that suddenly developed a shutter problem. But instead of the dreaded sticky shutter, it is actually firing at one speed. Could this be something to do with the self timer or other operator error?

The shutter needs a CLA. The camera has a Copal leaf shutter http://mattsclassiccameras.com/canonet_QL17.html coupled to the metering system.

Who services the QL17 these days? I also have a very nice GIII where the aperture ring linkage had broken. I suspect it's not a huge deal to repair. But where to send it?
