Canon Pro-300 Repair Question

Purchased a used Canon Pro-300 Printer. Got it home to setup and got a error code. I open the lid where the ink cartridges set and noted the two parts pictured in the file loose in the bottom of the printer. Would anybody know where they go and be able to provide instruction on how to replace?

In a way. Thank God the eBay seller let me return it for a full refund. I then bought a brand new one from Canon with a full 4 year warranty for they do not repair them.

Dang, Im stuck with mine any idea where this goes or do you see it in your printer?

I do not. I tried looking in the area on the new printer that might hold the parts, I never seen it.
