I purchased this camera from a private party, who stated the camera worked fine. I was in a hurry to leave for another engagement, so I did not test it until I got home. It does not power-on. I even purchased a new battery and it still does not power-on. Did I buy a pig-n-a-poke or am I not understanding what might bed wrong? - RA Leach

it's unlikely you got 2 bad batteries, although I have heard that happening.... if the contacts are clean and nothing happens with it I'd get my money back. otherwise you'd have to go further to to diagnose and repair.
