I always look at my Canon P and think it's what a screw-mount Leica M would have looked like.

Been trying to buy a Canon P on ebay. can't win . Does the Canon P now
prices worth more than Canon 7 ?

I think they are still less than the 7. I paid $118 for mine, including the light meter, from a seller in Japan. It was a buy it now offer. Best $118 I ever spent!

I regularly see the P running higher prices than the 7, but I don't look as hard for the P as I do the 7.

You just have to be patient. It took me about 4 months the get a good price on a P, $67.00 including postage from Japan. It's not perfect but everything works as it should. I didn't want to spend very much on an LTM as I have dozens of 35mm slr's. I haven't used an LTM as a primary camera in about 40 years, it's bringing back fond memories.
