I got a bit carried away and wanted to buy a "professional" camera. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I am offering the camera for sale someone that loves these cameras more than I do.

I purchased this camera from a user that had the camera overhauled by Ken Oikawa in February of 2013. The camera is in excellent shape with very little wear or brassing except in the usual spots near the upper front corners. The shutter curtains are smooth, without the common wrinkling sometimes seen in these cameras. This camera has the standard match needle metering prism (Eye Level Finder FN) and the partial metering focusing screen usually paired with that prism (PE). Exposures have been consistent and dead on. One of the best features about this set-up is the ability to see the metered aperture, user set aperture and shutter speed all at once. It is very simple to see how you have set the exposure compared to the metered value. All features are working as expected. The exposure meter light works as well as the stop down button. I simply have too many cameras and need to sell a few to get back to a state of reality.

I will accept PayPal payment only, and will eat the fee, as well as pay for shipping via USPS flat rate box. USA only. $300

Unfortunately, now that I've tried a few nice cameras and lenses, it is difficult to go back. I used to get many keepers when I used FSU gear, and could've kept going that way forever. Now I'm spoiled and have to fight constant GAS. GAS or not, I can't keep collecting gear without some restraint!

I am not selling my lenses, as I plan to use my FD lenses with my Canon A1.

Everything is in good shape. The film transport and spacing are good. The meter light works, the stop down feature works, as well as the rewind button and self timer. If there is any specific feature you want me to check out, let me know.
