Hi all
My recent purchased Canon F1 and its finder AE have a problem with the Aperture priority mode.
The needle does not move out of 8’’ position. I suppose that the galvanométer needle is dead. Is there any troubleshooter procedure to confirm a dead needle?
The manual mode exposure needle or the shutter priority mode scale needle works.
Can any one point out a service center to repair such problem and to do a overall and lub check to the camera.
I would rather prefer to repair the needle than buy a new finder and have the problem coming again in a near future.
I’m based in europe so, I would give priority to a repair facility here and if no alternative i’ll send it to the US.
Best Regards
