Hi all--
I picked up a Canon IVSB2 leica ripoff today but the poor ol' critter has seen better days. Can anyone recommend a good place for an overhaul on this? Preferably someone that specializes in this era Canon...
Thanks!
Matt

Hello Matt. I sent my IVSB2 to Gerry @ Kindermann in Canada. His bread-and-butter business is servicing all manners of Leica cameras but he does have experience on Canon RF's (I actually had him refresh my Dad's 1952 Canon IID1 as well). You can reach him through this eMail address: service at kindermann.ca. He also provides a warranty on his work.

Best repair service at the best rate!!!

I've been to Nippon Photo Clinic in NYC. They are very good.

Nippon means "Japan."

Mark Hama or Essex Camera Repair. Both have an excellent reputation for repairing/cleaning old Canon rangefinders.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Now I just have to decide if it is worth it...the camera is pretty beat up, more so than I thought at first.
