I am selling a Canon III Leica thread mount rangefinder camera body in good condition. The serial number is 54883.
All functions work well: The shutter is accurate, the rangefinder properly aligned, and the finder optics clean. The camera received a professional servicing in 2007 which included new shutter curtains AND I just had another professional CLA performed last week (it still has a faint aroma of fresh camera oil)!
The cosmetic condition is typical for a well-cared for camera of this vintage, with signs of only moderate use. The leatherette is in excellent condition. There are no dings or damage to the camera body. There are numerous bright lines on the baseplate. The camera is sold as shown with a takeup spool.
