Canon FTb QL - Frame Counter is stuck + QL mechanism does not work

Hi,

got another camera which has a problem. The FTb QL is in a wonderful condition - except the frame counter and the QL mechanism.

My question is - can i repair the framecounter myself? Or do i have to give it to a pro? And what about the QL mechanism? The Framecounter is stuck since i got it, but the QL-mechanism worked like a charm and from one day to another, after inserting a film, the mechanism won't advance the film even when i try to wind it - but it works when i don't close the cameraback and push the film with my hands into the right direction while i wind it.

Would be great if someone could help me again

Could the rewind button on the bottom of the camera be stuck in? Or is the shutter tripped?
