This has turned out to be one of my favorite lenses and I ended up getting the brighter f2 version. I have used this lens and I have been extremely pleased with the results. The glass is clear from scratches, fungus, coating imperfections, etc. The aperture is dry and works perfectly.

This lens has a floating element that corrects for close distances.
