Hello all,
my son is currently between two projects, and as I suggested I'd like to build a DIY winder for my F1 -especially for wildlife photography- ,he started working on one (yes I have a great son!! He made me an adapter ring for my Yashinon tele-lens to use 52mm filters with my Rolleiflex)
Of course there are many questions, many of which he or I can answer ourselves.
However, the electric part is a puzzle at the moment, since my "main" F1 keeps the MD contacts shorted whether it is wound or not, and the other one is in parts so we cannot test.
If you had a clear idea of how these work, it would be of great help.
Also : I thought about reusing a "for parts" winder for another camera as a basis for a F1 winder, and am wondering if this has already be done. It would solve some issues like motor drive, torque and limiter, etc...
