Hey y'all... I'm trying to consolidate the film collection a bit so have decided to let go of a remarkably nice Canon EOS 1 35mm Camera. I bought this body a couple months ago from a relative of the original owner who most likely only ran a few rolls of film through it. It is in near-mint condition and works flawlessly. It's just huge and I'm preferring my other stuff more for portability and lighter weight while traveling.
Included are the following items:
Canon EOS 1 Film Camera with Body Cap, Original Grip and Original Box
Canon PB-E1 Power Booster / Battery Grip with Cap (No Box)
Canon 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens with Caps (No Box)
The lens works beautifully and will work on any modern DSLR or other EOS SLR cameras. No fungus, separation or haze. There are 8 fresh AA batteries in the camera and I'll leave those in there for you. Film compartment is super clean and clear and everything works as it should. The meter in this camera agrees with my Minolta handheld meter as well as the meter in my EOS R to within a half stop or so (I'm not sure testing a spot-meter-capable SLR against an incident meter that's 35 years old is the best scientific test, honestly).
I'm asking $350 OBO for this kit including PayPal fees and shipping. I may consider a trade for a 6x6 TLR of some sort (Yashica, Seagull, etc.) or a 35mm Point-and-Shoot (Yashica T4, Klasse, etc. plus or minus cash if need be). I had many good transactions years ago here but moved away from film for a bit. Happy to provide recent references if needed.
