For sale - 6 Canon Elan 7NE bodies
Condition: fair, some signs of cosmetic wear, not for the collector or shelf queen, but for the user.
Operation: Tested with batteries, powers on, all functions work, lens will focus, shutter is fine, no fungus or haze in viewfinder, light seals and bumper foam in good condition. LEDs are bright.
Why is this a good camera, and why should you buy it?
The elan 7NE (not E, or N) was the very last film camera canon ever made. It was produced in 2001. It incorporates focus and flash technology that ended up in canon’s 10d and 20d cameras which is more modern than any other canon film camera (save the flagship EOS1v). Also it has the contemporary E-TTL-II flash technology, only two canon film cameras can boast that. It is canon’s last camera to incorporate eye control technology. It is canon’s version of a nikon F100 or Maxxum 7, meaning it is a prosumer camera. It is somewhat rare, since it was not in production for very long. If you own a canon full frame DSLR, or have full frame lenses this is an excellent film compliment to you digital cameras.
Price: 120 each, which includes shipping. I’ll throw in two roll scans from my scanning service too. Message me for details.
