Canon CLA in sweden Sweden (Mirror Issues)

Hey! I've got a Canon New f-1 that i got from my dad a couple of years ago, ive shot a couple rolls of it but the mirror is a bit weird, so my main 35mm slr is a canon A-1 at the moment.

So the issue is this.
The speeds seems to be ok, however the mirror is lagging. Most of the time it seems fine but from time to time it gets stuck in the upper position, it differs for how long, sometimes just a fraction of a second and sometimes a couple of seconds. The shutter still seems to do its job but the timing gets wrong if you know what i mean. A while ago it also went up slowly but that doesn't see to happen anymore.

I've been looking for a CLA in sweden but i only find old timers who serviced Nikon and pentax. There's also a couple who do older mechanical cameras like TLRs and such but i cant find anyone who want to touch a canon slr...

So does anyone know if i can at least find someone in Scandinavia, or at best here in sweden?

Did you talk to the guys at RCC in Göteborg?

Check the foam buffer that the mirror hits at the top of it's travel. Over the years the foam disintegrates and gets sticky which can hold the mirror up. Just change if for a little strip of adhesive backed foam from ebay if thats the case.
