This is a partly working Canonet 28.

The problem is 'A' mode doesn't work. I've tried new batteries but no luck.

Shutter fires, aperture ring rotates and the blades open / close as they should, viewfinder is cloudy but rangefinder patch visible, light seals are rotting away, focus is a tiny bit tight, some part is missing from the front of the lens barrel, glass looks a bit cloudy but it may just need a clean.

The most common problem is a corroded battery wire. Second most common is just a stuck meter galvanometer.
