I picked up the AF35 (non ML) from a thrift some time ago; not a camera type I usually would buy but I was looking for something to throw in the car. I was surprised to find it was the first AF camera and the original cost was more than many SLRs. Even more surprising was the lens quality. I've actually been having a bit of fun with it walking the streets in lieu of my Leica. Happily mine is not a shelf queen looks wise so I do not have to decide to keep it there doe the the significance of the model.
