The lens quality on this model is pretty much unrivaled. It sports a 40mm f/1.9 semi-wide with 5 elements. Contrast is up there with just about anything you can think of in 35mm cameraland. Motorized film advance and user-controlled flash. Prefocus lock that actually can be used in the wild (just hold the release halfway down). It's not all wine and roses with these beasts, however. The film advance sounds like an semi-trailer with a bad wheel bearing. This problem is not unique to this particular camera - they all sound that way. And focus indoors in low light is totally hopeless. If you are indoors and you need the flash, then you will get plenty of out-of-focus photos, guaranteed. But if you shoot outdoors in medium to bright light, then you will know photonic pleasure of a high order. As you can see from the photo, this example has a crystal clear lens and all other functions are perfect. Well worth the $20 asking price, plus actual shipping. Enjoy!!
