Nope. It wasn't made to be swapped out.
For access to the screen you need to remove the top cover, flip part of the circuit board out of the way & remove the prism.

Can I remove the focusing screen?
Do you have a link to show me how?

Thanks

I have the AE-1 PROGRAM, I assume it's a more automated version of the same camera and the focusing screen pops out very easily. I would also assume for that reason they are changeable.

The screen is held in place by small spring clips. If you find that yours is removable remember how you removed it because you can install it wrong. Also, you only need to remove the lens to get at it.

Someone gave me this camera, so I have no other info about it. I use it only occasionally. Good camera, came with 28-100 zoom.

Regards,

Paul

Yeah, the AE1Program does have user changeable screens. The AE1 doesn't they're not the same camera.
