Canon AE-1 Program Shutter/Aperture increments?

I just picked up an old AE-1 program.

The manual shutter speeds are full stops, and the manual aperture settings are half stops.

What aperture and shutter speed increments are used in the shutter priority and full program modes? Is it the same as manual? Or are there finer divisions when in auto modes?

In either of the A/P modes there's no real mechanical limit beyond the internal switches and their circuity.
IE: no mechanical stops between settings, so fractions of speed and aperture are possible.
