Canon A2 Command Dial

Any A2 users ever have their command dial break?---mine just recently did and now it just spins. Bought it in 2000. Now I'm looking for a place to get it fixed at a decent price.

Yes, it's a well known problem with that camera. I have an EOS 5 which is what it's called outside the USA & the same thing broke on mine a few years back. The technician who fixed it said that the Canon replacement part had been redesigned to prevent the same break happening again.
