Yes, this was the epitome of low-light lenses for 35mm cameras. Its only competitors were so wide-angle that they included the side of the lens in each photo, or so it was said. Nowadays it captures an image that ranges from one corner of the eyeball to the other without the distortion of a wide-angle lens.
It is really unique, and produces photos that are enjoyable at 'wide open' while also getting shots that are extremely sharp at higher f-stops, because this was beyond the lens grinding capability of Zeiss, Leica, etc at the time. It is truly a treasure for those who'd like to make great photos on 35mm.
The camera has been in the family for decades, and I have never hesitated to take it everywhere for decades, but I need to reduce my stuff now that I am 75.

Lens looks perfect, no scratches or fungus. Has original cap, but no hood and I doubt it ever had a hood. The case is made specifically for this model camera and would not fit with a hood, nor is there mention of one in the instruction book.
